Dear Josh,
Hi. Thanks for the great info so far on your travels. We were wondering if you are going to the Southern Alps of the South Island? We read that there is an area of tortured rocks and dramatic valleys known as Flock Hill and the movie Narnia was filmed there. The area is supposed to be awesome.
The director of the movie is actually from New Zealand. If you go please film some video clips for us. Thanks Josh.

Actually, we're heading to the South Island for our last stop in NZ. Queenstown is supposed to one of the world's most beutiful cities! Besides that, Narnia was indeed filmed there under the direction of a local man named...Peter Jackson. He grew up here in Wellington and shot most of Lord of the Rings and Narnia right here. His studios are also in Wellington.....but unfortunately they're not giving any tours this week...
But, yes, there will be shots of the alps, for sure. Keep posted!
