Hi,
I teach k-6 General Music and was wondering what information you have discovered in your travels thus far that I could share with my students?

Hi Josh!
My students are anxiously awaiting your adventure with the didgeridoo as we have just completed a unit on Native American instruments. Let us know how your experience is!
Musical Instruments...
Hey branjam,
Thanks for writing! The didgeridoo is an Aboriginaly designed instrument that is pretty amazing not only in how they sound, but in how they're created. Basically, (I forgot the exact type of tree the wood comes from) the wood is eaten until it's hollow from termites. These pieces of wood (long and about 5 inches or so thick) are then cleaned out, painted and tuned. To think that these instruments are straight from the bush and have their own natural notes is pretty amazing! You should check out the webisode on the intrument....
Thanks!
Josh
