What type of government does Australia have? Who's the president? Are there lots of people in Australia? Is poverty a big thing in Australia?

Australia is a democracy and people can vote at the age of 18, just like the U.S. (suffrage). I don't much (yet) about the extent of povety in Australia, but I can look into it.
