About DEA: China

Claudia Novak is the Title One technology teacher/trainer for five elementary schools in the Nashua, New Hampshire school district .  On October 12^th, she will be boarding a plane for Shanghai, China.  This will be the eighth Virtual Field Trip that she has been  a part of.  Claudia travels with her husband, and other annual Virtual Fieldtrips have been taken to Austria, Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK.

Itinerary

• October 12th - Leaving from Boston Logan Airport at 8:00 am.
• October 13th - Arrive in Shanghai at 3:30pm.
• October 16th - Dr. Novak teaches his class.
• October 20th - Leaving for Hangzhou, China.
• October 22nd - Returning to Shanghai and joining a Viking River Tour.
• October 24th - Leaving Shanghai and flying to Yichang to board the Viking Century Star.
• October 25th - Seeing the Three Gorges Dam.
• October 26th - Seeing Wu, Qutang and Lesser Three Gorges.
• October 27th - Seeing Snow Jade Cave in Fengdu.
• October 28th - Disembarking the Viking Century Star and flying to Xian.
• October 29th - Visiting the Terracotta Army and flying to Beijing.
• October 30th - Visiting the Great Wall of China and Sacred Way of the Ming.
• October 31st - Visiting Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and Summer Palace.
• November 1st - Viking River Tour ends and personal time to visit other great places in Beijing.
• November 2nd - Leaving at 5:30 pm to fly home to Boston.
