Food in China

Dear Josh,
Carolyn wants to know if the food in CHina is different than the Chinese food we eat here in America.
Kevin wants to know if it was hard to rip open the crocidile's shell? Is it like peeling a hard boiled egg?

Croc Eggs and Chinese Food!

Carolyn,
Thanks for the questions! First of all, the croc egg was pretty easy to crack open. It was more supple than it was hard like a hard boiled egg. While listening to the other babies squeaking about, the baby croc becomes pretty excited and actually helps you in breaking the shell!

Now as for the food in China, it seems very different from the food you might get at your local restaurant. For one, as you can see in the photo below, the food is usually quite fresh. There are markets, night and day, that sell fresh seafood, chicken, veggies, and just about anything you might want. You can buy these food items in packaging, but why would you when you can get it fresh! The second photo is a set meal I had just yesterday. I made little notes describing each food item on the tray. Everything was incredibly delicious, especially the spinach which was cooked with garlic. You can really taste the freshness.....

Thanks for the questions!

Josh
