DEN's Earth and Space Virtual Project

For your 1st mission you and your students will create a Google Earth placemark for you school site.  We have a webinar scheduled on April 19 (1 pm est) to help get you started, but if you and your students want to fly solo, feel free to use our Make Your Mark on Planet Earth Tutorial.

Your placemark must include the following.

A description of your class which includes:

• the name of your school
• your grade level
• number of students
• anything that makes your school unique

A description of your area which includes:

• special attractions we may want to stop by if we are visiting
• local wildlife
• anything that makes your town unique
